I am a work in progress
a weekly something of a news poem
Breathe in.
I am a work in progress.
Every day
and that is okay.
Constant perfection
does not interest.
Should we each and every one
instead call it a day?
And go contemplate together
in a shared collective way?
Isnβt that what is important?
What makes us human after all?
The tears of shared trauma and of joy,
coming out of the same source?
Chris Bache I bet would have said yes.
Seventy-three doses,
into LSD and the mind.
An ocean of suffering is not yours alone.
Healing your own wounds
heals a thread of the whole.
Lives and lines getting entangled,
breath by breath.
A stranger, maybe your brother?
Your brother, maybe a tree?
Your flowers, maybe a star?
Or magnetic steam pulses?
Breathe out.
Who is it that is following your breath?
The human, the non-human, the iOS.
Spirit, soul,
aether in digest.
Particles linked?
Who would have guessed?
Is life just different than we think?
Some hearing low EMF.
Some seeing extended colours, painted onto our skin.
Some finding hidden sea floors.
Some creating puffin-inspired robots,
flying and diving on the same wings.
Maybe we were too.
Breathe in.
What will be the progress part?
Some making Ai 2040βs guess.
Some asking for a necessary datacenter break.
Some creating a new thinking machine.
But maybe you and I instead should run a test,
on the ancient systems, curiosity
and the unique telepathic traits.
Open up and protect the space for
these beautiful minds,
the developing brains,
the diamond kids,
away from the weight of the pull.
Because childhood,
Tomorrowland cannot wait.
Each day a day to follow your bliss and
disappear into what you love.
Breathe out.
Maybe the whole universe is one big breath?
That is at least what Roger Penrose thinks.
Aeon after aeon.
The end of one
conformally identical
to the beginning of the next.
Infinite expansion
becoming the next Big Bounce.
A phoenix, cosmic,
breathing itself back into being.
So maybe we do so too.
Breathing in the trauma.
Connecting.
Breathing out the joy.
Contemplating.
And the other way around.
Always together.
Always a work in progress,
here on this beautiful
Earth School.
